The village of Bushmills is famous as the home of Bushmills Whiskey – the oldest licensed (1608) whiskey distillery in the world. Bushmills is also famous for its position on the River Bush where wild Atlantic Salmon spawn each year. These unique features are celebrated in a collaboration between many of our food tour partners in the popular Bushmills Salmon & Whiskey Festival (4-6 October 2024), which showcases local heritage & fine produce with a huge variety of tastings, chef appearances, talks, entertainment, storytelling, craft, music and heritage to enjoy.

10.45 – 11.45am – Market Square – Bushmills Brunch with Lacada beer & Armagh apple cider tastings
12 – 1pm – Broughgammon Farm – Farm tour & tastings
1.15 – 2.15pm – Tartine at Distillers Arms – 2 course Bushmills themed lunch
2.30 – 3.00pm – Maegden – cheese course
3.15 – 4pm – Bushmills Distillery – 3 whiskey tasting (including signature cocktail)

celebration to share in all the delights this charming village has to offer.
The weekend starts with us on Friday 4th October, with our foodie day tour. Lasting 6.5 hours,
you will become familiar with our heritage and culinary culture, taste our delicious
local produce and meet the people behind this. As you explore through the village and
further afield on a tour of 6 planned stops, you will ‘meet the makers’ and taste
locally produced food & drink, many of which have attracted many prestigious
awards including Great Taste and Blas ná hEireann marques.

You will discover produce from our local artisan markets, enjoy specially crafted
menus from our local chefs, visit an exceptional farm, find your cheese heaven and
savour the world-famous Bushmills Whiskey.
